Lee Lee – Acequias Spain These street rubbings were made outside a surviving Qanat in Madrid during an excursion while on a residency with AADK looking at acequias in the Huerta (or Garden) region of South Central Spain.

Eco-printing during a residency at AADK in Blanca, Spain. We used dye plants found on our explorations and transferred their color by soaking them in rust-activated water, warmed by the hot mid-summer sun.
